4.0 Tammy was great, communicative and knowledgeable in our cross border move. No move is perfect, had two damaged pieces of furniture. However, Jimmy at final delivery was great! He took the damaged pieces to their warehouse for repair, and they came back in good shape.

4.0 The representative who helped organize everything was great, he helped make the importing process easy, clearly explained the whole process, and was responsive and easy to get in touch with. The team at the drop off was also fantastic, they got the job done quickly and were all very nice. The folks at pick up are the only reason it's not a 5-star review. They were pretty rude and complained the whole time. Otherwise, Trans Canada Movers made a difficult move easy.

Want to say a special thanks to the delivery team who was super professional driver Fred , Sean, Yunus and Vedran thank you so much 🙌🙌 they even wrapped my monitors and desk and brought all of the extra needed materials to ensure all items made it safely

4.0 We had a very nice experience with Trans Canada Movers. An international move always brings a lot of questions and uncertainty. It was great to have an experienced company to guide us. I especially want to shout out the movers themselves: Yunis and his crew, and Matt, Ata, Bulent, and their crew. It was a very difficult move with a lot of big, heavy boxes and stairs, but they were undaunted. We did have some damage to a couple of furniture pieces during transport, but they repaired them and delivered them for free, and they looked as good as new. Sometimes the information from headquarters didn't match what we were hearing from dispatch, but with a little communication, we were able to sort it out. In the end, everything went smoothly. I would certainly recommend their services in the future.

5.0 Used Trans Canada Movers for long distance moving from BC to ON. Overall excellent professional service with seamless pickup and delivery. Jason cordinated the pick up at BC and Alain at ON.

Pick up : The pick up was delayed by few hours but work done well by team. Items are picked on promised date (Thanks to Jason for well cordinated end-end delivery and package boxes, tapes and tips for packing).

Delivery : The delivery part was excellent with superior service by Sanlier and his companion (ask for him if you are around Toronto region :)).

It took around 2 weeks with 30 day free storage promise. All fragile/delicate items arrived in same condition and seems to have handled well during the transit.

Improvements suggested to provide adequate time and information on additional charges for credit card payments, package costs. It would have been more detailed for first time folks like me to understand and be prepared.

Overall - I surely recommend Trans canada for long distance safe moving and reasonable price.

5.0 Highly recommended this company! Planning and communication were superb. Ask for Jake! The movers on both ends were polite and hard-working. The only negative, and it really couldn’t be helped with the type of international move we were doing, was that the goods had to go onto the moving truck in California, then switch trucks in BC and then arrive in Manitoba. The extra “touches” increased the risk of breakage, BUT we only found two broken plates out of over 1500 yd.³ of goods, so I say not too shabby :)

I would also like to thank Alain and the team. The movers were kind, patient, and careful while disassembling and reassembling our furniture. The Ata Brothers took extra time and care to ensure everything was reassembled exactly as it had been.

Our move was far from simple: we were relocating from Montreal to British Columbia, to a more remote area, and our move-in date did not match our delivery date. We therefore needed temporary storage, which the company handled perfectly.

From start to finish, everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous, and efficient. Whether it was the team in Montreal who packed and loaded our belongings, Jason who coordinated everything throughout the process, or the delivery crew at our new home, everything went very smoothly. The movers were careful, respectful of our belongings, and took great care throughout the move.

Another thing we really appreciated was the pricing. The final cost matched the estimate we had been given—in fact, we ended up paying slightly less than the original estimate, which is rare and certainly worth mentioning.

There was a small delay with a portion of our belongings, which arrived about a week after the rest of the shipment. However, everything arrived safely in the end, and considering the complexity of our move, this did not affect our overall satisfaction.

1.0 I requested a quote from Trans Canada Movers. A very polite and professional estimator came to the house, assessed everything, and seemed engaged. I followed up multiple times over the following weeks. A full month later they finally sent a quote for $250,000 USD. That figure was roughly three times higher than quotes I received from five other reputable moving companies for the exact same job.When I asked about the massive difference, the estimator essentially told me they don’t like doing long-distance moves (this one is about a 15-hour drive) because they can make more money doing short local jobs. That was the end of the conversation as far as they were concerned.
I would never hire this company. The long wait for a quote combined with the extreme price and the open admission that they prefer not to take long-haul work makes them a non-starter. Save yourself the time and go with a company that actually wants the job - although pretty typical for a a Canadian based company - laziness across the board.

5.0 We had a very good experience with Trans Canada Movers! My husband and I moved from Vancouver to a very small town north of Toronto. But they took the time to explain each step of the process to us from the pickup, loading and delivery. We were also very pleased with how accurate our quote was!
Also both teams of workers were very efficient in handling our furniture with care and had no problem with the many stairs in our new home.
We realized shortly after they had left our home in Vancouver that we mistakenly miss labeled a pair of closet doors that belonged to the house. But they assured us it was no problem and made arrangements to have them transported back to Vancouver at no charge, even delivered right to our door.
I would highly recommend this company if you are planing a cross country move!

1.0 Our move from *************** to **************** required our goods to be reloaded from a semi trailer to a straight truck somewhere at or between the ***************** and the **************. The straight truck had a leaky roof and was unfit to move and/or store furnishings and so our goods on day of delivery showed up with free standing water in the bed of the truck. Cartons were soaked and crushed, MDF manufactured furniture was swollen, hardwood furniture finish bleached and eroded, laminates lifting. In addition at point of origin, they used codes for burned and torn for almost a third of all items on the manifest including tables and headboards. The adhesive labels were missing on some items and double and tripled up on other items in the manifest making it impossible to reconcile what we signed for at point of origin to what arrived notwithstanding the *** copy was mostly illegible anyway. Of 13 full household moves made in our lifetime including to/from the ** and to/from *********** this was by far the worst and most incompetent. The support is minimal and they will take no responsibility outside $60 cents per pound insurance. A grave regretful mistake picking this company.

3.0 I contracted this company for a cross-country move, which cost approximately $8,000. Unfortunately, the service I received was unsatisfactory due to several issues.

Firstly, not all of my items were delivered, and one item was damaged during transit. The delivery team did not verify the inventory upon arrival, leading to the discovery of a missing shelf later on. Additionally, I found that several of my plastic storage bins were broken during the move.

I immediately contacted the company to report these issues and express my concerns about the unprofessional behavior of both the pick-up and delivery crews. During the pick-up, the moving team argued incessantly, with one member behaving aggressively and raising his voice at his colleague in front of us. The movers made us feel at fault for not having a detailed inventory list, despite this not being a requirement. Each additional item was met with visible frustration, even though I understood that charges were based on weight.

Communication regarding the delivery schedule was poor. I had to repeatedly request updates, and the delivery date was changed twice, causing significant inconvenience. Upon delivery, the driver reacted angrily when I pointed out the damaged rack, suggesting my spouse repair it himself. While we were eventually compensated for the shelf, the situation was handled unacceptably.

Currently, I am still missing a rack and have had to initiate a claims process due to the lack of follow-up. Given these experiences, including the communication issues and unprofessional conduct, I would not consider using this company again. I have consistently strived to maintain clear and open communication throughout this process.

The move went very well - in spite of a major snowstorm -- everything arrived on time and in good shape at the ********* end with no major damage and we felt well looked after.
