They gave excellent advice to prepare us for crossing the border with our goods. The movers were on time, efficient and thorough. They wrapped our furniture so well that not one piece was scratched or damaged. They arrived on time at our new home and put everything where we asked, getting large furniture through small doorways without a single scratch on the walls and floor. We looked around 3-4 moving companies and TransCanada offered the best price per pound. On the day of the move 3-4 guys packed everything within 3 hours with great care. Unloading in the US was done carefully too. All items arrived on time without any issues and Conor kept us updated on the timeline of the delivery. 5.0 We went with Trans Canada Movers to move from interior BC to southern Ontario. We reviewed a few cross-country movers, and they gave the best per pound rate and were the most responsive. Everyone we dealt with -- the sales agent, the packers, the unpackers -- were extremely professional and careful. We sent videos of what we were moving, and the sales agent provided a pretty accurate estimate for the quote. We had many boxes and items labelled as "Fragile", and the packers made sure to provide extra protection and wrapping. The estimated time frame for delivery was 2-4 weeks, and the actual time required was just over 2 weeks. The unpackers cross-checked all items from the local warehouse with their inventory list, and confirmed that everything was accounted for. All in all, nothing was lost, all of our items were in great condition; only a couple of tubs and suitcase had minor damage. We would absolutely recommend Trans Canada Movers for anyone doing a big move.

Their quote matched the final price (it turned out to be a bit under because we ended up selling some things), the service was great from the sales person (Conor) to the guys who did the move (and helped pack last min things). 5.0 I used Trans Canada for my international move from Pennsylvania to Ontario and couldn't have had a better experience. After I entered my information for a quote, I was contacted by Jake D, who promptly answered all my billions of questions. Seriously, we have an email chain that's 52 messages long, and that's only ONE of the several email chains.

On moving day, the crew that showed up was friendly and professional and took my 65 boxes and other items down two sets of stairs and into the truck in under 2 hours. On the other side, my stuff was delivered quickly (a day earlier than expected) and in good shape. Both my TVs made it through alive and not a single plate or glass is broken. Trans Canada also set me up with the forms I needed when crossing the border myself, and took care of the customs clearance details. I highly recommend this moving company!

5.0 Me and my family just finished our move from Vancouver, BC, Canada to San Diego, California, USA. This is not our first move, as we have moved from Denmark to Vancouver, and back again – so we are pretty used to moving an entire household.
This time was different though, as we had to move between Canada and USA, and we visited a lot of websites, and I talked to a lot of moving companies and got quotes from several. When I visited the different websites, I primarily looked for ratings, and the pricing and ratings in combination, meant I chose Trans Canada Movers.

Since we made the decision to go with them, the communication was great, and we really felt being in good hands. We got messages, once our stuff was picked up, when it crossed the border – and we got a three-day window for arrival, 10 days before delivery. The delivery went smooth, and the crew coming with the truck full of our things were on time.

The moving business is a different one to get your head around, and chose the right company to assist you, and I did read bad stories from people, with a lot of bad experiences moving from USA to Canada or the other way. So, there was some concern moving this time.

I can just state that the experience with Conor and the team in Trans Canada Movers was excellent, and if we decide to move again, I would definitely use them again.

They told us exactly what forms to fill out, what to expect, the estimated cost, information about insurance, customs and border control, etc. It was a lot for us to handle, but they always explained the steps carefully and thoroughly. We've never used a service like this before, and the closer we got to moving day the more relieved we were! They were so professional at every step: our agent, Conor, walked us through all the paperwork and gave us great advice to make sure all our things made it through customs without incident. The crews that loaded (Sean & Vedran) and unloaded (Jack, Ziggy & Mark) were friendly, professional, and worked as great teams to carefully pack and unpack our belongings. We have several pieces of antique family heirlooms, and I couldn't have wrapped and handled them any better if I had the strength to do it myself (which I don't!). Everything arrived in perfect shape, not a scratch or dent on anything. The final bill was within the quoted range, so there were no surprises upon delivery. 5.0 Had a great experience with this company moving from Vancouver, BC to Seattle, WA. Conor was our point person / sales exec and he was super helpful and communicative with us. The quote was accurate, thanks to a video tour we were able to do to show how much stuff we had. The movers in both Vancouver and Seattle were incredibly efficient (not to mention lovely to work with). It was about 3 guys moving a 1 bedroom apartment and from start to finish it took about 2.5 hours on either end. Cross border moving is super expensive but the quote we got from this company was by far the most reasonable and affordable ($3k versus the $5-7k we were being quoted by other many other similar companies). Our belongings took about 6 days to arrive, while other companies were saying it would be minimum a week and maximum 3 weeks. Also, everything arrived in perfect condition, zero damage. We highly recommend!

5.0 I had the pleasure of Trans Canada Movers handle my move from Ottawa to Vancouver 3 months ago. I was a tad bit stressed because of moving cross-country by myself but also being a Chef by profession; I had quite a few expensive knife kits and recipe books from my career around the globe in addition to my gaming tech.

At the expertise of Tammy.C, I was put to ease of mind and heart because she not only sent me a detailed break-down of all the costs involved but even was patient enough to have many a telephonic conversation to answer all my queries.

Over the 3 weeks that the move took; she kept in constant communication with me via email right from when the movers packed up my stuff, to when the truck left the warehouse, to when it finally arrived at destination.

Everyone who works with the company are super polite and deserve generous tips if your budget allows it. The move was efficient and organized in timely fashion. I want to highlight that Trans Canada Movers’s prices are the most reasonable in all of Canada hands down! I did take their insurance policy to cover my most valuable items of $15,000+ but it was absolutely worth it for that added reassurance.

In addition; they were generous enough to waive off the scaling fee of $100 plus an additional fee waiver of almost $200 for having no elevator in an old building I moved into in Vancouver. In the end; me having paid around $4,000 (including Tips) was an exceptional price for a long-distance move like mine!

All my things arrived in the manner I had sent them out. Not one broken item or anything lost in transit. That to me; is professionalism at it’s best and a company that takes pride in being leaders in their industry. I would definitely recommend Trans Canada Movers to anyone looking to place their trust in an organization and it’s employees that know what they are doing with regards to the logistics of moving homes across Canada.

They moved the date of delivery post custom but that was okay.We hired them again, Nick, this year to move my family from Paris in France to Vancouver. That was more tricky, but it went well. We received all our boxes. Few hiccups in the process but it went well. They are responsive and obvously have a huge international network, which can be super helpful. Thank you! 5.0 If you are looking for a reliable and safe company to entrust the handling and moving your most valued home property, look no further than Trans Canada Movers.I had never heard of them until I started my research, looking for a moving company to transfer my two bedroom contents from Surrey, BC to Castlegar.I spoke with Tammy who sent out Jason within 48 hours for a site inspection for an estimate. Again, within 48 hours, Tammy provided an estimate which aligned with my budget.Two of the other biggest movers both estimated far higher than I expected, and other movers estimated ridiculously low, without an on-site inspection. I ultimately chose Trans Canada Movers as their pricing seemed more realistic. Tammy’s reassurance in the company’s ratings, their on-site inspection, and her tenure with the company helped in my decision.Three well trained and organized professionals arrived on moving day. I watched them handle and load my most fragile items with care.On arrival day, as promised, two professionals, Sean and Frank unloaded, again with precision and care.I can’t say enough about Trans Canada Movers.
